Once again, the consistency of style of this newest Violeta port blend is a testament to the Glenrose Vineyard, which comprises the primary fruit source for all of our Portuguese-style ports.  The color is dark, brooding and opaque.  The nose offers hints of wintergreen and Bergamot oil which combine with the sumptuous flavors of plum, currant and a decadent chocolaty richness, all supported by enough grip to allow this port to be enjoyed over the next decade or more.  These are the elements that define our Violeta port wine, our tribute to the finest port wines of the Douro Valley.
