This 100% Verdelho is a great spring and summer sipper  Light bodied with rich notes of honeydew, guava and ginger. The palate exhibits passion fruit, guava and a hint of citrus, finishing with good acidity leaving a dry and refreshing finish.

Verdelho is a Portuguese native grape and is a key variety used in the production of the fortified wines of Madeira.  It was the most planted grape variety off the coast of Portugal during the 19th century but has lost ground over the years.
